About Us - The story behind Dog Gone Pet Designs

As animal lovers and owners of several dogs and cats, we have always believed in going that extra mile for our pets, especially when it comes to their health. We found that feeding time for our pets created a major challenge – our dogs would constantly eat the cats’ food. This resulted in overweight dogs and the additional expense of buying twice as much cat food.

We tried a variety of tactics to solve our problem, including changing feeding locations, which led to less than satisfactory results. We needed a solution to our dilemma.

We successfully solved this problem by creating “The Feeding Station” for medium to large dogs and, later, “The Feeding Box” for smaller sized dogs. Our products not only kept the dogs away from the cats’ food, but also blended seamlessly with our furniture and served to promote a cleaner house by containing spills.
